Madame Butterfly: A Geisha In Louboutin's

The Christian Louboutin Madame Butterfly Platform Pumps are incredible! I love the 3 bow detailing, and minimal pleats on the sides of each bow.

At the HBO Emmy Party, Chloe Sevigny pairs the pumps with a sexy little leopard number, a red clutch, and gold jewelry to compliment. I love this whole look. It's edgy, sexy, and fun! 

Rihanna, the girl who looks amazing in pretty much EVERYTHING, pairs the pumps with a simple yet sexy black dress, but adds an extra flair with her shiny snakeskin jacket and cute fedora hat. RiRi's hair coordinates well with the red bottoms! LoLz

One of my favorite supermodel's ever, Heidi Klum, pairs these amazing heels with a sexy peachish-tan cowlneck top, a sexy tulip inspired black skirt and a large wrap around studded belt. This is the way you stroll New York City! Work!

The Queen of R'n'B, Mary J. Blige, rocked the Butterfly pumps while performing. Paired it with a very shiny and shimmery spandex metallic suit. I think only Mary could rock this outfit and kill it! Luvs it!

America's favorite actress, Zoe Saldana, paired the pumps with a super cute white frilled wrap dress with a black belting detail. I love her style!

What I Wore Today

Talk about a Plain Jane! I had to go to my store and help build T-stands, get the register stand ready, and a bunch of other hard labor I am not use to so I kept it very simple. 

Unfortunately you cannot see my cute short sleeve black sweater's detailing (it has these amazing large buttons and a nice pinned collar) because the lighting in my crappy apartment is terrible, but I got this sweater last winter and it has held up amazingly. Got it from Macy's on sale for $13 dollars. My scarf came from this wholesale store that sells to any and everyone who carries scarfs, and I only paid $2 bucks for it. Of course, my hair is wrapped up because it is in serious need of a beautician, but I haven't had the time, and still cannot decide what I want to do to it.

These are my favorite pair of sneakers I own. They are Vans, of course, and they have this amazing colorway, along with a metallic detailing which is why I love them. I hunted them down all over NYC because they were sold out in my size (big feet people have a very hard time finding shoes because stores usually buy less pairs of shoes over size 8 for women), but I ended up getting them on a trip I took last year to California to visit my friends. I wear these all the time and get a million compliments. I paired them with my grey levi skinny jeans so the color would pop even more.


Later on that day I had a very important meeting with a well known magazine's digitial publication team, so I kept my grey jeans on and threw on a simple Old Navy mauve colored tee, a military green vest with bronze grommets, and a beautiful scarf I got for $3 dollars from a thrift store in Soho. Oh, and I wore my very simple Tory Burch Reva Flats in ivory.

Not my most fashionable outfit, but sometimes 'it just be that way'! LoLz! I promise my 'What I Wore Today' posts will be much better once I get my new camera, otherwise, we're just dealing with Photo Booth on my Macbook!

Speak To My Sole

This season has yet to disappoint me with the amazing clothes, shoes, and accessories. I decided to take a skimmer thru the Saks website, and picked a few of my favorite shoes out for the season. Some of these will be in my closet soon, I don't care if I'm broke after. Carrie Bradshaw said it best "I like my money right where I can see it: In my closet!", but in my case "On my feet!" LoLz!

Burberry Knotted Check Canvas Ballet Flats $350 are a cute simple pair of flats that can be paired with a cute black dress or a dark pair of jeans, black blazer, and classic crisp white button down shirt, at least that's what I'll be wearing them with!

Burberry Suede & Leather Platform Boots $995 are my favorite bootie of the season. The platform  adds comfort, the straps give a dominatrix appeal, and the combination of suede and leather with gold accents will look perfect dressed up or down.

Burberry Buckled Strap Sandals $750 are a cute pair of platform sandals that can be worn with the right pair of tights. I love the dark chocolate heel with the mauve color of the leather.

Alexander Wang Freja Patent Leather & Suede Open Toe Ankle Boots $695 are very sexy with the open toe, leather detailing, and lace up style that is a season necessity. I also love the thickness of the heel for added support.

Alexander McQueen Samurai Strappy Sandals $1095, are a sure showstopper. I love the tan color, and weaving along with the crisscross straps give these shoes a sexy edge

Christian Louboutin Rollerball Spiked Velvet Flats $995 are a must have for me. I love the combination of velvet with gold grommets. Ugh, I cannot wait to have these on my feet! 

Miu Miu Mary Jane Ballet Flats $490 are so adorable with the black point toe along with the black bow and adjustable ankle strap

Tory Burch Reva Glitter Ballet Flats $235 are amazing! I am a Tory Burch Reva flats addict, and these are no exception. They include two of my favorite things: pink and glitter!

Brian Atwood Leopard Print Haircalf Ankle Boots $980 are sexy with the side snap, invisible platform, and all over leopard print. Brian Atwood never seems to disappoint

Chloe Tall Wool Lined Boots $1195 are amazing because they have a look with of a classic riding boot, but the added wrap around straps and visible wool lining cuff give it that extra comfort and style

Christian Louboutin Ronfifi Corset Boots $1695 have a very sexy modernized Victorian appeal, accented with Roman inspired buttons  

Christian Dior Cavaliere Platform Ankle Boots $1250 have this amazing harness with gold tone buckles are a definite crowd pleaser. Another Victorian inspired bootie for the season 

Tory Burch Halima Suede & Leather Ankle Boots $450 give the same Victorian feel but at a much lower price than some of the other shoes previously shown. The booties are highlighted with gold hardware, combination of suede & leather, and dark brown platform and heel

Prada Peep Toe Suede Platform Ankle Boots $890 are ridiculously sexy, stylish, and sleek. I'm in love!
