Something About Me!

Today turned out to be a rather interesting day. I always start my weekends to being awaken by my silly four year old who always seems to wake up at 6:30 am on Saturdays & Sundays, but during the school week it is a 20 minute fight trying to get him out of bed! Anyway, it was a good thing he did wake me because I had a ton of things I wanted to get done early today because I had an important meeting later on in the evening.


So, I did all my fall cleaning, and I semi-packed because I am moving (again), tons of laundry, and of course, blogging. I always seem to be wearing some type of sports team tee when I clean, I think I own a shirt for every basketball and football team ever! I had an amazing conversation with an old friend who has given me some amazing tips on how to further myself in my career. It is always nice having someone who is living your same dream because they can give you the advice to become successful. 

My meeting today was more like an interview, although it was very informal and actually pretty fun.  It was originally suppose to be in person, but because of conflicts, we ended up having a great phone conference. I spoke with the co manager of an Artist we all know and love (I'm not allowed to say who until I get the job), and even though the job would not start until early next year, they wanted to have someone hired now. I would basically be a part time personal assistant/stylist, lots of traveling, and any other job that the Artist and management would need me for. Of course, they were concerned because I have a young child, but I reassured that I have that under control, and I am doing this for my son, so it wouldn't be a problem. So, from that great conference, I was told I am going to meet with the Artist in the next two weeks to see the vibe, and if it is good, then the job is mine. I'm very excited and very hopeful. Although I do not have experience as a personal assistant, I am very responsible and organized so this would be great for me. Plus, I have been looking for an opportunity like this forever.


I am managing a pretty hectic schedule. Managing a store, interning, and assistant styling, plus trying to do my personal writing and designing.


It's a busy life, but I love every minute of it, and I am definitely looking forward to what will come from all my hard work. So, now I'm about to continue finding things to blog about while I watch reruns of 'Degrassi' until 'Dexter' comes on! Later dolls! 


Oh yeah, before I forget, my GIANTS won today!!!!!!
