Fashionably Famous: Jazmine Sullivan

So, due to the amazing connections of my Mother, a local New York playwright, I get some great opportunities for events happening all over New York. Tonight I will be attending the Mary J. Blige concert featuring Jazmine Sullivan and Miguel. Now, Mary J. is definitely an R'n'B queen, but Jazmine Sullivan is slowly becoming one of the most recognized and original voices in music. Her most recent single, "Holdin You Down (Goin In Circles) makes moves on my heart! It is an anthem that many women, including myself, can relate to. And her style is impeccable. Her gorgeous mane has inspired the next look that I'm going to be rocking shortly. The full curls compliment her gorgeous, olive shaped face.

Her lightning bolt earrings by Melody Eshani are amazing! Mirrored acrylic, they give that extra spark that a woman may need when trying to stand out from the crowd. Jazmine's pink lips, bonze eyeshadow, and thick eyelashes give a soft, feminine, yet sultry look.

This curvy fashionista goes with a menswear inspired look, pairing a classic crisp white dress shirt with a velvet vest, and the very trendy boyfriend inspired jeans that have been all over the runways. Paired with some sky high pumps, gold chains, and a straightened with flipped edges Farrah Fawcett inspired hairstyle, the look is trendy while still being original and sexy.
