Hey Everyone!
First off, let me start by saying thank you for checking out my brand new blog, Blame It On Me! This blog is about the everyday adventures of me, Sabrina, a fun loving, motivated, curvy fashionista. And most of all, how I have learned over time that all the unbearable, ridiculous, and outright unacceptable things that happen in my life are totally my fault and finding ways to overcome and change my destiny.
Just a little bit of info about me:
I go by Sabrina or Bri.
I'm 25 years old, my birthday is June 3rd, which makes me a fabulous Gemini!
I am originally from Woodland Hills, CA located in the San Fernando Valley, also known as the Valley of the Dolls, better known as the stomping grounds of the Kardashian Sisters!
I currently reside in Brooklyn, NY, Bushwick to be exact. Kinda hate it, kinda love it!
I moved to New York to live out my literary and fashion dreams. I am a writer, designer, and stylist. I obsess for everything from vintage shops in the Village, to Fifth Avenue retailers such as Saks & Bergdorf's.
I'm a plus size fashion maven living in a skinny fashion world, which is definitely an obstacle. But so far, I seem to be doing pretty well for myself. I try to let my personal style and my work speak for itself.
Of course, I have been on an everlasting diet like most overweight women, but that was a continue fail. So recently I decided to try to make an everlasting lifestyle change, and I have been very successful. I have lost 14 lbs in three weeks! I will also be chronicling my success and failures with weight loss. Hopefully to help other young women who are trying to make a healthy change in their lives.
My most important mention is that of my costar of the blog, Jayden, my amazing four and a half year old little boy.
Jayden is the light of my life.
Jayden is an extremely special child because he is a free spirit, hilarious, intelligent, and just an overall joy. What also makes Jayden special is that he is a child living with Autism. Although he is considered high functioning, the daily struggles he goes thru to communicate and express himself can become very taxing. Also, raising a child with Autism in the big city is not an easy task because of his hypersensitivity and inability to sense or steer clear of danger. I will chronicle day to day life of Jayden to give you readers an insight into this life. In addition to written posts, I will regularly post videos.
So, overall, you will not only get the chance to see my loves, hates, likes, dislikes, struggles as a plus size fashionista, but also Jayden's views, and what it is like trying to be successful when there are so many obstacles to overcome.
Oh yeah, and of course I will chronicle my social life with friends, love interests, and views that are close to my heart such as domestic violence and child abuse.
This is the life of Sabrina. You get to live it with me. Enjoy it!
You’re responsible for all of society’s woes, including war, global warming, and the banana shortage in Australia!
